Launch of the “Sustainable youth integration” project No. 2021-2-BG01-KA210-YOU-000051128, under the Erasmus + program.
The main goal of the project is the creation and implementation of an effective and innovative model for the sustainable integration of people from vulnerable groups on the territory of the Municipality of Vidin, aimed at increasing the quality of life, reducing poverty and stopping the transmission of poverty through generations.
Among the planned activities for implementation of the project, is the preparation of an analysis of the study of youth integration in the labor market. The purpose of the research is to determine the main reasons for the impossibility of young people living in both areas to realize themselves in the labor market and to analyze this complex social problem. The implementation of the activity includes conducting an online survey on the topic of “The state of employment among young people in the Vidin region and Transylvania region”.
Young people who are economically inactive, not engaged in work, including young people at risk of social exclusion and young people from marginalized communities, aged 15 to 29 will be the target group for this research. The present research will be conducted entirely online and will aim to determine the factors that underlie the high levels of unemployment and economic inactivity among the youth of Vidin District and Transylvania District, where the town of Targu Secuiesc is located. The online survey will be conducted via questionnaire which will be made available for completion to 400 youngsters from the two districts. After all respondents have completed the questionnaire, the collected data will be processed. After the completion of the online survey, the results obtained will be used to develop measures to ensure a positive impact on the target groups of the project in terms of their suitability for economic and social inclusion. In this way, eliminating the negative consequences of the inability to find a job and their sustainable integration in the labor market will be facilitated.
