On 5 November the EVS volunteers from Green Sun association had the chance to get involved in the everyday life of a family from Poian, where they could see the baking methods of the traditional homemade bread with potatoes. Photos are available on the association’s Facebook page.
Baking homemade bread is a tradition that lives this days too, is usually a long process, but it is much easier than cooking many pastry products. The secret is only the accurate measurement of the needed ingredients. When you prepare the dough does not apply the rule: taste and add a little salt,etc. because the correct measurement of the ingredients gives the right consistency of the bread. For the volunteers was a great opportunity to get acquainted with our culture and not least to get closer to the local people.
