Turkish and Spanish cusine in Dalnok school

      On December 19th, Green Sun Association participated in “Scoala altfel” (“Iskola maskent”) from Dálnok school. They organized a presentation about Turkish and Spanish cuisine with the help of our EVS, Ayse Bursa Yilmaz and Isabel Fernandez. They talked about their habits, some recipies and finally, they danced some traditional and easy dance from their country. Dálnok School thanked our EVS for talking about their county with some gifts. Our EVS with help of some teachers prepared a delicious potato salad.

    Later, there was a competition of cakes. The children prepared the cakes at home and the teachers, the headmistress and our EVS were the jury. They chose the best cake and the best table decoration. The prize was a diploma, some magnets and a Key-ring. The children ate their wonderful cakes with soft-drinks they had brought with them.

It was a cold day but the children enjoyed it. They came back home with new knowledges to tell their family  this Christmas.
