In 26 November in Sepsiszentgyörgy (Sfantu Gheorghe) Armenian National Evening was organized. The evening was organized by Gayane Asatryan, who is a EVS volunteer of Green Sun Association. Photos taken at this event can be viewed on the Facebook page of the Green Sun association.

Invitation was from Civil Federation of Covasna County, which is a non profit organization founded on the 13rd of December in 2006 by 15 NOGs. It was legally registered in June, 2007. The federation’s mission is to develop civil organizations in Covasna. Green Sun association member of Civil Federation, too. Evening was very interesting and lasted more then 1,5 hours. Gayane presented information about Armenia, it’s history, culture, Alphabet, about Armenian churches, about Yerevan and else. Guests watched videos about Armenia and Armenian festivals. There were Armenian song by Inga and Anush Arshakyan, music of Armenian duduk and dhol, / intrumnets/ Gayane teached to guest’s Armenian dance- qochari and then they dance together. Note also that the whole evening was translated from English into Hungarian by Derzsi Eszter, member of Green Sun. By the way, on April 12 there was Armenian national evening in Kézdivásárhely, which was one of the National evenings of Green Sun Association.
