Green Sun Association will organize the 1st Greek national event on 28th of January at 18:00. The event will be provided by Ntanou Polyxeni, our Greek ESC volunteer and  will be held in the Vigadó Culture House in Kézdivásárhely.

ESC turkish volunteers Ayten Kurnaz and Halis Özcan are happy to announce that beginning from January 19 on each Thursday from 17.00 a clock will be organized the Turkish Club. If you are interested too find more about the beautiful culture of Turkey and to learn basic of the language we are pleased to help you.

The photo contest announced by the Green Sun Association "Ezek is mi vagyunk!" (We, from another perspective!), ended a few days ago. The photo contest was announced for the 12th time by the association in order to draw attention to the relationship between human and nature, to the miracle that occurs through the natural, continuous change of life and last but not least to the power of nature in forming communities.

In May this year, the Green Sun Association launched the 12th edition of the "That's how we are!" Photo contest. An A3 calendar for 2021 will be made from the winning photos. The photos participating in the contest are available here. At the contest we are waiting for photos that emphasize the relationship between man and nature, beauty, value, his mistakes, as well as those photos that see, suggest from an artistic perspective the relationship between man and nature.

On July 15. 2020, 9 volunteers from the Green Sun Association had the opportunity to spend a few hours in the blue pearl yard owned by the producer Kelemen Gábor. Photos during the visit are available on the Facebook page of the association.

The Green Sun Association announced its renowned photo competition at the beginning of May. The competition is titled: This is also who we are!. The winning pieces will be showcased in a 2021 calendar. If you are curious, check out the photo’s in the gallery. We would like to see photos that portray a unique artistic perspective of the relationship between nature and humanity. The photo’s should portray the beauty, the value, and the faults of this complicated relationship. We are excited to see positive, shocking, thought-provoking, or didactic images.

The volunteers of Environment+ project from Green Sun Association Salome Pirtskhelava and Mariam Sargsyan organized a new  Russian club. The lessons were taken once a week during 4 months. This time the main subject of the Russian club was not the language alone but rather the connection of language and culture. Photos from the event can be viewed on the association's Facebook page.

On March 12, through the cooperation of the Community Foundation Háromszék, the Green Sun Association and the Local Council, using part of the money collected during the Bike for a good aim community bicycle foundraising action was officially inaugurated the first smart bank in the county. The main sponsors of the Bike for a good aim community bicycle foundraising action in 2019 were Zarah Moden Kft and New Fashion Rt.

Between 27-29 January 2020 was organized the closing conference of the project EFOP-5.2.2 -Transnational Cooperation by the Norma Foundation from Eger. At the meeting, partner organizations evaluated the past two years. As it was mentioned several times in the previous reports of the project, the main focus of the research is to reduce the rate of youth emigration, to identify the root causes, to develop solutions for their remaining home, and to reintroduce them into Hungarian-populated areas in the respective countries.

Green Sun Association will organize the 5th Armenian national event in Vigadó Cultural House. During the evening, Mariam Sargsyan Armenian volunteer in the frame of the project Environment+, financed by the European Solidarity Corp Program will take you on a journey to the land of sun, hospitality and rich history. You will be able to discover the unique country of Armenia through a presentation and a beautiful song, which will be performed by the Turkish ESC volunteer Asiye Demirci.
